Thanks for the review Brad!

Not a problem! Thanks for the samples and the giveaway items - and keep up the good work!

I'm impressed if it is to replace both moleskin cahier and field notes. I might have to move the Doane Utility Notebook to the top of my list of notebooks to buy.

Thanh

Really impressive paper quality, and the design is beautiful too. They probably should make these with more pages too, don't you think?

doane

Thanh we really wanted to push the limit on the thickness of the Utility Notebook's content stock. At an 80# text stock weight you're probably not going to find a thicker sheet of paper in a pocket notebook. As Brad mentioned in his review these things are built like a pair of Vasque Sundowner Boots, it's gonna take some time to break in one of our notebooks. If we had put anymore pages in the notebook you'd never be able to close it, ever.

Thanh

Hi Doane, thanks for the clarification. I look forward to writing in one of them soon.

Great review. I was interested in the paper quality of the doane utility notebook compared to field notes. This review makes it clear.

ron

Does it have a pocket in the back?

dowdyism

@ron - no it does not. Thanks for mentioning that - I should have put that in the review.
