D*I*Y Planner has a great review of the Myndology Bare Notebook posted. I'm not sure how I would take to the ring binding, but any notebook that gets a 9/10 review score is at least worthy of a look.

Of course you have to remember that diyplanner can be quite disc binding obsessive when you read a 9/10 review :-o
I cant comment on the Myndology products as I dont own one. Disc binding itslef is quite good. You can fold your notebook round itslef and it does lie flat. However, for me, the main benefit is that you can pop in pages of different sizes, so notes on index cards can be slotted in, magazine articles etc. You can only do that if you have the special punch though and the Myndology one when in stock seems a bit pricey. For occasional punching if you just want to slip something into your exisitng disc bound notebook, the Rollabind portable one will work well.
Cheers

This is pretty cool how the disc system works and allows you to add different items. Thanks for the comment!
